Booking:
Provisional booking of
accommodation should be made by phone or fax. We will confirm
availability. The signed booking form together with a deposit
of 40% should be received within seven (7) days of the
provisional booking being made. Bookings are valid from
1.00pm on day of arrival to 10.00 am on the day of departure
however, this may vary according to flight arrival times, departures
etc. Any changes to the arrival and departure times must be
approved and arranged beforehand.
Terms of payment:
A deposit of 40% of
the total price, or copy of bank transfer must accompany the Booking
Form. The balance of payment must be received not les than 28
days before the date of arrival. The owner reserves the
right to regard the booking as cancelled if the balance of
the price remains unpaid after the due date, and shall be
entitled to retain any deposit paid. For bookings made less
than 28 days prior to arrival date, immediate payment of the total cost
is required. Remittances made by bank transfer.
Cancellation by the client:
The
person who signed the Booking Form must make any cancellation
in writing. Cancellation of accommodation will apply from
the date of receipt of the written cancellation advice. The
following charges will apply:
Up to 60 days prior to start of booking: 10% cancellation fee
60-30 days: 40%
30 days or less prior to booking: 100%
Clients are advised to take out travel insurance.
Cancellation by the owner:
In the unlikely event that specific accommodation ceases to
be available as booked, the Owner will refund the Client all
monies paid (including deposit).
Cleaning:
The apartment is cleaned weekly.
Key Collection:
Full details of key collection will be confirmed once final documentation has been issued.
Responsibility:
The owner shall not
be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity
that may be caused to person or property however caused or
arising during the accommodation period. We strongly
recommend comprehensive travel insurance. No responsibility
is accepted in the event the client has failed to arrange
travel insurance.
Security Deposit:
A security deposit
of $200.00 AUD or equivalent local currency will be charged. This
amount is payable at the time the balance is paid and will be
held until four weeks after the rental property is vacated
unless there are agreed costs. It will then be refunded in
full, unless there are agreed costs to be deducted or damages
to be compensated. Otherwise, should any of the equipment or
furnishings in the accommodation being occupied by the client be lost
or damaged, the client will be required to make immediate
cash settlement with the Owner for any necessary replacement
or repair.
